Pride aside!

Hey everyone,

As my previous blog states, we are called to stand out, to stand strong.  After all in Philippians 4:13 says we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us, in Hebrews 13:5  God says that He will never leave us nor forsake us and in Psalm 23:4 says when we are in the valley, God walks with us, His rod and His staff comfort us. 

Standing strong knowing that God will do what He says He will do! 

Praying continually!

Standing strong, pressing through but sometimes even though you are praying, trusting, you can crush and burn.  Faith in God is a powerful thing.  When Job's moments come, one after the other, you stand through one, you stand through two, you stand through three and then you start to scream.
 I honestly believe that if you don't reach out  to someone you will crush and burn. You need flesh and blood also if only to pray for you.
                                    

But we must not forget those that God put in our lives to help build us up, to nurture us.  We are not the only ones He uses.  He uses all who are willing. So lets us embrace ALL the help He provides!

If you are someone who is always encouraging others, always lifting up others it becomes very hard to admit that you need encouraging too, you need lifting up too.  I have to say its pride.  Proverbs 16:18 says that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall, you can spiral out of control. Reach out! Give others the opportunity to encourage and lift you up!
